Question 1

Accepted Answer

Lisa Morgan is a trauma-informed life coach based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the founder of Lisa Morgan Coaching ABQ (also known as Free Your Soul to Soar). She is a Certified Life Coach and a retired Board-Certified Music Therapist who helps women release the subconscious patterns and nervous system responses that keep them stuck, so they can heal from the inside out. She works with clients locally in Albuquerque and virtually worldwide.

Question 2

Where is Lisa Morgan Coaching located?

Accepted Answer

Lisa Morgan Coaching ABQ is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lisa works with local clients throughout the Albuquerque area and offers virtual coaching to clients across the United States and worldwide, so you can work with her wherever you are.

Question 3

Is Lisa Morgan a therapist or a life coach?

Accepted Answer

Lisa is a Certified Life Coach, not a licensed therapist. She is also a retired Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), and that clinical background informs how she works, but coaching and therapy are different. Therapy often focuses on diagnosing and treating the past; coaching is future-focused and action-oriented, centered on who you are now and where you want to go. Because Lisa's work also addresses what lives in the body and the subconscious, clients often experience shifts they hadn't found in talk therapy alone.

Question 4

What is Free Your Soul to Soar?

Accepted Answer

Free Your Soul to Soar is Lisa Morgan's signature coaching approach and the name of her Albuquerque-based practice. It's built on the belief that lasting change happens from the inside out, by gently working with the body, the nervous system, and the subconscious patterns that keep people repeating the same cycles. Rather than pushing through or thinking positively, the work goes to the root of what isn't working so you can feel lighter, clearer, and more like yourself.

Question 5

How is coaching different from therapy?

Accepted Answer

Therapy often focuses on healing the past. Coaching focuses on who you are now and where you want to go. It is future-focused, action-oriented, and designed to help you create real change. In my work, we also address what lives in the body and the subconscious, which is why clients often experience deeper shifts than they have found in traditional talk therapy alone.

Question 6

What is Lisa Morgan's coaching philosophy and approach?

Accepted Answer

My coaching is rooted in the belief that real change happens from the inside out. We slow down and look at what is truly going on beneath the surface, the thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and patterns that make life feel harder than it needs to be. Instead of pushing through or pretending everything is fine, we get to the root of what is not working. By the end of a session, people often feel lighter, clearer, more grounded, and more like themselves.

Question 7

What is Lisa Morgan's coaching style?

Accepted Answer

Straightforward, compassionate, and deeply intuitive. I help you get to the heart of the matter, with heart. Sessions feel like a safe, sacred space where you can be fully seen and supported while also being gently guided to rise into your best self.

Question 8

Is life coaching worth it? What are the real benefits?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you are ready for real change. Good coaching can save you years of frustration, help you get unstuck faster, and bring clarity about what you actually want for your life. Clients often experience breakthroughs in confidence, relationships, money, health, purpose, and emotional peace.

Question 9

What does trauma-informed coaching mean and why does it matter?

Accepted Answer

Trauma-informed means I understand how fear, overwhelm, and past experiences continue to shape your reactions, choices, and patterns, even when you do not consciously remember the events. My work honors your pace, your safety, and your nervous system. Because I have lived through extreme trauma myself and healed it, I know how to guide you with compassion, intuition, and deep respect.

Question 10

How do I choose the right life coach for me?

Accepted Answer

The right coach feels like someone who truly sees you, and with whom you feel safe. Look for authenticity, integrity, and emotional intelligence. Tune into their presence. Does it feel like a match? You do not need a perfect coach. You just need someone who can access what is already inside you and help you move forward.

Question 11

What happens in a coaching session with Lisa Morgan?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are experiential, intuitive, and real. We tune in and explore what is showing up in your body's signals and bring the hidden patterns into awareness. Through targeted, focused processes, we help you clear, shift, and heal what is not working. It is a process that builds on itself session by session.

Question 12

How long does it take to see results from coaching?

Accepted Answer

Many clients feel a meaningful shift in their very first session, noticing relief, clarity, or a sense of lightness they had not felt in a long time. Long-term change depends on your goals, your history, and the depth of support you want. Because this work goes straight to the root rather than the surface, change can happen faster than most people expect.

Question 13

What are Lisa Morgan's qualifications and certifications?

Accepted Answer

Lisa Morgan is a Certified Life Coach since 2002, a retired Board-Certified Music Therapist, MT-BC, and holds advanced certifications from Margaret Lynch Raniere in Motivation Breakthrough Coaching and Chakra Intuitive Mastery. Her undergraduate degree is in Psychology, and she spent 17 years working on psychiatric units in two general hospitals. She is also a co-author of Against All Odds alongside Lisa Nichols. Her lived experience includes a 25-plus-year process of healing from extreme childhood trauma, abuse, terror, violence, and neglect.

Question 14

How do I know if I'm ready for coaching?

Accepted Answer

You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. In fact, many people come to coaching because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or know something needs to change but can't quite name what it is. If you're ready to understand yourself more deeply, let go of patterns that no longer serve you, and create lasting change, you're ready to start.

Question 15

What if I've tried therapy, coaching, or personal development before and nothing really changed?

Accepted Answer

Many of my clients arrive after years of reading books, attending workshops, working with therapists, or trying other coaching programs. They aren't looking for more information. They're looking for a different experience. Much of my work focuses on the subconscious patterns and nervous system responses that keep people repeating the same cycles. When those underlying patterns begin to shift, change often feels more natural and lasting than simply trying harder or thinking more positively.

Question 16

What if I'm nervous about opening up to someone I don't know?

Accepted Answer

That's completely understandable. Trust isn't something I expect on the first day. It's something we build together. My role is to create a space where you can be honest without feeling judged, rushed, or pressured to share more than you're ready to. We move at a pace that feels safe and respectful of your experience, because meaningful change begins when you feel supported enough to be yourself.
